In The Room - The Ivors Academy
Developed by The Ivors Academy and funded by Youth Music, with support from Help Musicians, In The Room is an 8-month programme designed to empower emerging music creators.
Focused on six songwriters and composers aged 18-24 from diverse backgrounds, the programme provided leadership training, paid research opportunities, and valuable industry exposure. Guided by under-25 Academy Board Directors Hope Winter and Imogen Williams, participants explored how to influence decision-making and amplify the voices of young creators across the music industry.
