Inside Track - In The Making
Artists recently took part in an extraordinary journey through the Inside Track programme, led by Ivor Novello Award-winning producer, songwriter, and drummer Cassell The Beatmaker.
Run by Cassell’s community interest company In The Making, in collaboration with PPL, The Ivors Academy, and The Ivors Academy Trust, the initiative supported emerging musicians from economically, socially, and rurally disadvantaged backgrounds across the UK.
Participants received hands-on industry experience, covering everything from production and songwriting to performance, branding, business planning, and networking. With direct mentorship and expert guidance, the programme helped equip the cohort with the tools and confidence needed to take their next steps in the music industry.
